About me

I am an Operations Research scientist with seven years of experience in mathematical programming and the design of meta-heuristic search algorithms and exact optimization methods to solve challenging business problems.

Currently, I am a Postdoctoral research fellow at the department of Mathematics and Industrial engineering of Polytechnique Montreal and CIRRELT under the supervision of Prof. Michel Gendreau and Prof. Teodor Crainic. I received my Ph.D. degree in Industrial Engineering and Operations Management from Koc university.

My current research interest falls into two broad topics: (1) Incorporation of equity consideration in quantitative decision-making tools and designing equity-aware optimization algorithms; (2) using machine learning and optimization methods to analyze complex supply chain problems such as last-mile and middle-mile logistics, production scheduling, and location analysis.
